Gumroad - My Account Was Suspended Due to Stolen Credit Card; DO NOT USE GUMLOAD
The title says it all. The following are my email exchanges with a Gumload representative.

I just tried to log into my Gumroad account and was informed that my
account was "suspended." . . .
This is really inconvenient. Could you reactivate it as soon as

Our risk models detected behaviors in your Gumroad account that are considered, in the payment processing industry, to be fraudulent or correlated to fraud – to be sure, we apologize for the negative connotation that the word “fraud” has.

Dear K*,
The links you provided do not explain anything as you did not provide
any explanation as to how these rules were applied to my specific
case.
The product I was selling was a result of years of my hard work, I
trusted Gumroad to handle transactions for my product, and you
BETRAYED. I regard your company as unethical and untrustworthy as a
business partner, and I will inform others who are looking for online
transaction services to stay as far away as possible from your
business.
Having said that, I have already switched entirely to a Bitcoin-based
system for my online transactions, so I do not need your company's
unreliable "help." Your business practice is abominable and
disgusting.

Dear K*,
I wish you had told me earlier about these fraudulent activities as I
had no idea. You do not seem to understand, however, that it is not my
job to filter out those customers with malicious intents as I have no
control over them. It is the company which provides the online
transaction service that is responsible for ensuring that all the
transactions are valid. It is not the responsibility of the user of
the service.
If you cut off customers without no specific explanation whatsoever as
you tried to do to me, there is no way for us to trust your company. I
really liked your services and was excited to sell the new version of
my software at Gumroad. My sales figures may be insignificant compared
to your big customers, but I just hope your company would stop
treating its customers like criminals.

I had same negative issue with gumroad; I bought an item paid through gumroad; I did not recognize the charge at first put in dispute; and later reversed dispute-gumroad sent me a canned email response that I am banned from buying on their platform
Former GR employee here - It doesn't matter if you have any influence over your customers or not. If your customers are fraudy, then your account is a liability.
This is not a Gumroad policy - this is just how life is in the payments world goes.
